Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Atlanta Select Properties team sell real estate in my area?

Many of our clients are long-term relationships or referrals from other clients. Both our clients and their friends throughout the Metro often move from one side of town to another, so over the years, we have sold in many areas of the Metro. We go where our clients are or where they want to buy. As a result, we have a broad picture of the Atlanta market and the options available to you. From intown to outside the perimeter, we have you covered.

What are the benefits of having a team like Atlanta Select Properties?

Our team approach allows us to give our clients more focused attention and service. A single agent typically splits their day between showings, listings, marketing, finding new clients, and other operational activities. With a team approach, our staff are each able to focus on one area so that you receive the highest level of expertise. With each team member, we also broaden our network, creating more opportunities and resources for our clients.

Our Listing Specialist is focused on positioning your home in the best light possible and for the best price possible in the current market. Networking with other buyers’ agents and focused marketing for your home are critical to a quick sale.

Our Buyer Specialist understands the challenges buyers face in today’s market and is actively focused on finding your ideal home as soon as it comes on the market. Staying up-to-date on available homes and neighborhood stats is a key focus for the Buyer Specialist.

The Client Services Manager helps with our marketing, scheduling and other critical tasks so our agents are able to focus on finding the perfect home or buyer. If an agent is out showing a house or at a closing, the Client Services Manager is always available to assist you.

What makes Atlanta Select Properties different?

We focus on building long-term relationships, not just making the sale. We care for your needs as if they were our own, and we want to be there for you as families grow and careers progress. Long after closing, we are available as a resource and regularly keep you updated on the ever-changing real estate market. We won’t let you buy a bad home, so you won’t have to worry about resale value when the time comes.

We focus on activities that get the most traction for you. Our strategy for one client may be completely different from our strategy for another client. Our work is customized and personal.

We focus on networking with other agents. We see this as a key to our success, as it helps us broaden prospects for buyers and sellers. It also gives us a rapport that’s helpful when negotiating for our clients.

What price point do you service?

We service Luxury, Move-Up Buyers/Sellers, and First Time Buyers/Sellers; this includes condos, townhomes, single family and estate homes. If we’re not the right fit for you, we’ll be sure to refer you to an agent who can help with your specific need.

What kind of customer service can I expect?

As your agent, we are an advocate for you. We leverage our extensive market knowledge and networks to position you for success and identify the best deal. Our team does not believe in one-size-fits-all. We believe in customized and personal service. It is our goal to always respond to you within 24 hours.

I’m thinking about buying or selling. When should I contact Atlanta Select Properties?

If you are thinking of buying or selling a home within the next 12 months, it’s not too early to contact us. We like being proactive and can advise you on the best plan of action to reach your goals. Buying or selling a home can be stressful, but with some preplanning, we can make things a little easier.

What happens after closing?

We’re still here for you! You’ll get periodic reminders from us regarding your homestead exemption filing, as well as monthly mailings to keep you in the loop on market trends that may affect you. Our team is also available if you need assistance evaluating property tax valuations or running an analysis on the current value of your home. In addition, we welcome the opportunity to help friends and family you refer.

I have a friend or family member who needs an agent. How do I refer them?

We appreciate every referral from our clients and friends. If we are not the right fit, we will work to help match your referral with someone who can better assist him or her. The preferred way to refer us is to copy us on an email introducing us to your friend or family member. That allows our team to immediately follow-up, answer any questions he or she might have, and provide all of our contact information. You are also welcome to call or text us.
